Newport 4 Hip Orthosis

The Newport 4 hip orthosis is designed and engineered to provide the most comfortable hip orthosis for you patients with innovative new options that increase comfort and control. The low-profile design improves patient comfort and compliance, and the padded posterior section improves the fit and support to the lower back. The unique thigh shell is trimmed lower in the proximal medial border for improvide hygiene and also the distal lateral trip to prevent knee impingement during flexion. The pelvic component can be rapidly adjusted for both hip circumference and hip development while the patient is wearing the orthosis. Once the optimum position has been determined, the components are locked into place by tightening the two locking discs. This pelvic component is available in side-specific or universal models. CoolFoam liners are provided and replacements can be ordered for easy wear and care.
