Orthomerica hosted their 19th Annual Star Summit from October 19 – 21st at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando, FL.
The Star Summit brings together “the best of the best” cranial clinicians from around the world who use Orthomerica’s cranial products and data acquisition technologies including the Starband® family of cranial remolding orthoses, Starscanner®, and SmartSoc® systems. Attendees participate in three days of multidisciplinary cranial lectures and workshops, as well as hear from leading pediatric physicians and other allied health care professionals. This year was our largest Star Summit with over 150 attendees representing 13 different countries including Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Japan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
According to Deanna Fish, CPO, Clinical Outreach Manager for Orthomerica, the Star Summit allows cranial clinicians to collaborate with their peers on a variety of cranial topics including deformational head shapes, craniosynostosis, new clinical studies, outcomes reporting, and best practices.
