The new Orlando TPFx is effective for non-operative and post-operative treatment of proximal tibial fractures, following internal fixation of the fractures, or the removal of an external fixation device. The prefabricated or custom-to-measurement Orlando Tibial Plateau Fracture Bracing System addresses many of the problems associated with non-operative orthotic treatment of this potentially challenging fracture presentation.
Components are available in prefabricated, preassembled, or custom-to-measurements that can be phoned, faxed or emailed to Orthomerica, or custom-fabricated from Orthomerica’s central fabrication facility.

• Lightweight, durable and trimmable polyethylene components enhance patient comfort
• Femoral component is a posterior shell with a low density tongue.
• Clamshell tibial component has a formed patella bar
• Available with a wide variety of knee joint configurations
• Modular free motion or fixed ankle shoe insert option can be upgraded to a single axis shoe insert for an additional charge
• “PTB”-type design with padded anterior component provides rotational control and more circumferential hydrostatic control, allowing fit as early as 2-6 weeks post-fracture
