Orlando® KAFO – Drop Lock KAFO

The Orlando Drop Lock KAFO is prefabricated and pre-assembled for many full leg orthopaedic indications. It is especially useful for distal femoral or proximal tibial fractures or hemiplegic patients following CVA. the narrow M-L and longer A-P thigh design provides an improved anatomical fit. Drop lock knee joints provide stance phase knee stability in the sagittal and coronal planes. Single axis or solid ankle shoe insert with extended footplate will prevent flaccid foot drop for post-CVA patients. Plastic joint covers are available for cosmetic considerations. Components also available separately for easy replacement over the course of the rehabilitation program.
